While Mila Orgiyvsky could never whittle her entire real estate career down to one defining transaction, there’s one she often returns to time and time again exemplifying her tireless determination in such a competitive field. A couple looking to retire and move out of state were struggling to sell their Winnetka home. Two brokerages tried with no luck. But when Mila brought her knowledgeable yet sweet-as-honey approach to the transaction, the home quickly sold. Mila’s client said she’d performed a miracle; a sentiment which touched Mila deeply. Today, she feels a particular devotion when taking on homes that have struggled on the market. Taking on these challenging homes has allowed Mila to carefully craft strategies and techniques that move these properties off the market time and time again with big returns for her clients.
Mila grew up in Ukraine where she achieved her Master of Finance before moving to Israel where she worked in business consulting. Her career kept her fluent in Hebrew as well as Russian. In 2002, she made the move to Los Angeles. Shortly after arriving, a friend noted that her remarkable determination and persistence would be valuable assets in a real estate career. It was all the encouragement Mila needed.
By 2004, she’d obtained her real estate license and was already developing a particular fondness for handling expired listings and investment properties. She recognizes the emotional weight in the major life decisions that accompany real estate transactions. It’s one of the reasons she offers her sellers a free, no-obligation consultation in which she highlights the best ways to maximize a home’s unique benefits and overcome its specific challenges. This allows her clients to see the full picture and develop suitable confidence in their decision. For buyers, Mila has perfected the art of following up, diligently ensuring their needs are met.
When not making real estate miracles, Mila enjoys exploring her spirituality. It's even inspired her to write a book entitled Making Pancakes with God about her profound, authentic relationship with her Creator. She also adores spending time with her English labrador Dodger and three cats Lilly, Reese, and Coldy.
